Section 3.2: What is a function?
Notes:
To know if a graph is a function, we can use the “vertical line test.” If you can draw a vertical line through any part of the graph, and it only hits the graph ONCE, it passes the test! It’s a function!! However, if you can find even ONE instance where you draw that vertical line and it hits twice… FAIL!!! The graph is NOT a function.
